MRA Leadership Academy 


The Massachusetts Restaurant Association is pleased to offer a new program for the professional development of rising stars in the world of hospitality.  MRA member restaurants have the capability to enroll select hourly employees in a 36 week part-time management training program, that will school their staff with essential tools to become part of restaurant upper management teams.  The program is at little cost to the employer and provides online and classroom training and certification in the following areas: 

Hospitality and Restaurant Management
Managerial Accounting
Controlling Food Service Costs
Servsafe Food Certification
ManageFirst Customer Service
Specialty Topics

The project is funded by a Workforce Training Fund grant through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The grant program is administered by the Commonwealth Corporation.
